HD Metal Prints

To create our HD Metal Prints, we use a dye sublimation process. Dye sublimation is a process through which an image is infused directly into a substrate.

Images are first printed with uniquely formulated inks onto a transfer paper, which is then adhered to a specially coated aluminum sheet. The aluminum and transfer paper are placed into a heat press, which causes the dyes from the transfer paper to transform into gas. As the metal cools, the dyes return to their solid state, becoming permanently infused into the aluminum substrate.

Benefits

Finish Options

  • White Finished Panel
  • Brushed Finished Panel

White Finished Panel

Our White Finished HD Metal Print is the most popular choice due to its clean, white surface which allows for bright and vibrant colors as well as overall image sharpness. Choose from Glossy or Matte finish.

  • .045″ thick aluminum panel
  • Archival, Moisture-Proof & Scratch Resistant
  • 1″x1″ Aluminum Sub-Frame for Hanging
  • Modern, Frameless Floating “off the wall” effect

Brushed Finished Panel

Our Brushed Finish HD Metal Print offers a brushed-textured finish throughout the image. The effect is especially apparent in the white and highlight areas of your image.  Black & White, as well as Intensely saturated images and graphics are recommended. Please be aware, this finish will look quite different to what you see “on-screen”, and we highly recommend ordering test prints.

Please Note:

Because HD Metal Prints are infused directly to the substrate and receive a special coating, occasionally small depressions or bumps may occur. These are not imperfections as they are inherent to the printing process. We do not offer reprints due to these occurrences. Our staff will make every effort to ensure any bumps or depressions are discreet and do not occur in the main content area of your image.
