NYC is both a highly industrialized city, as well as a uniquely beautiful location in many different ways. With all of the skyscrapers and large buildings piled on top of one another, NYC is a true representation of much of the mentality that the world has currently adopted. Although there are many beautiful places to take pictures in New York City, some places are much more beautiful than others. This article will cover some of the best picture locations in NYC.

1. Times Square

Times Square makes one of the best picture locations in NYC for multiple reasons. There are so many incredibly tall buildings surrounding the Square, all lit with different colors and LED billboards, which it would be hard to find a reason not to take advantage of such an incredible location.

2. Grand Central Station

Grand Central Station is a fantastic place to photograph, as there is a wide variety of different pieces of art that are strewn around the Station. In addition to the artwork, the architecture of the Station is an incredible feat of humankind, making Grand Central Station another one of the best picture locations in NYC.

3. St. Patrick’s Cathedral

Featuring incredibly tall ceilings, amazing architecture, a plethora of religious artifacts and incredible steeples, St. Patrick’s Cathedral is an incredible place to photograph for more than just beauty. Although beauty plays a large part in photographs, St. Patrick’s Cathedral is also one of the best picture locations in NYC due to the religious connotations that are attached to the very idea of the Cathedral. From a large auditorium in which you can see intertwining structural bars in the ceilings, to the pillars that run up the walls of the Cathedral, and even to the more private parts of the Cathedral in which candle-light vigils are held, St. Patrick’s Cathedral is an incredible sight to see, as well as photograph.

4. Brooklyn Bridge

The Brooklyn Bridge is another one of humankind’s greatest feats. This bridge is one of the best picture locations in NYC due to its massive size, incredible structure and variation depending on the angle of your photograph.

5. Chinatown

Chinatown is vibrant with a culture that seems so distant from the rest of NYC. There are plenty of different factors that lead to this being another one of the best picture locations in NYC, from the rich culture to the beautiful buildings, and even the graffiti covering many of the walls in this small little paradise.
